FIELDTIE POINT & ATTENDANCE

Verify the arrival. Keep the shift evidence.

A dynamic QR scan and Bluetooth proximity give app check-ins two on-site signals. Keep arrivals, departures and verification methods connected to the person, company and site, with differences visible for review.

EVERY ARRIVAL HAS A WAY IN

Expected or unexpected. Everyone can connect.

FieldTie is designed around the person standing at the site, including people who have never used it before.

01 / PRE-ENROLLED

Already known.

Start with people from your existing workforce records. Their identity and company are ready for the site check-in.

02 / INVITED

Ready before arrival.

Give an expected worker an onboarding link so they can complete the required details before the shift starts.

03 / WALK-UP

New to the site.

A subcontractor scans FieldTie Point, verifies their mobile and supplies the required details. Any outstanding company or site approval remains visible.

SCAN. CONNECT. WORK.

Two paths. One site experience.

WITH THE FIELDTIE APP

Back on site. Ready to go.

The phone camera opens FieldTie with the correct site context. The app checks both the current QR and Bluetooth proximity.

  1. 01
    Scan the dynamic QR

Open the installed FieldTie app at the right site.

  2. 02
    Confirm proximity

Bluetooth adds a second on-site signal.

  3. 03
    Start the shift

Check in and open your site tools.

NEW HERE / NO APP

Your first shift. Start in the browser.

Someone who has never registered can connect through their phone camera, without installing an app first.

  1. 01
    Scan & verify your mobile

Open the web experience and enter the verification code.

  2. 02
    Confirm your details

Confirm your details and company. Supply a credential only where the role or site requires one.

  3. 03
    Choose app or web

Continue in the browser or move into the app.

App check-in combines QR and Bluetooth signals. The web example uses QR and mobile verification. Device and verification steps are simulated in these demos.

THE RECORD BEHIND “I’M HERE”

A person. A company. A real site context.

The attendance record connects who arrived, who they work for, where they are and how they checked in. That context carries into their reports, procedures and site updates.

See the operational view

CREDENTIALS, WHERE REQUIRED

Capture the details. Let the worker confirm.

A site induction, trade qualification or role-specific licence may be required. Ask for the requirements that apply to this assignment and show the worker what still needs review.

Capturing a document, confirming a company relationship and granting work permission are separate steps with their own decision owners.

REAL-WORLD FALLBACKS

A flat phone shouldn’t stop the site.

The planned provisional-session flow lets a worker identify themselves on another device and confirm through their registered mobile later.

Until verified, the record stays provisional and visible as an exception for the operation to review.

FEWER ATTENDANCE CALLS

The plan says one thing. What happened on site?

Where your existing system supplies shifts, match arrivals to the expected work. Keep an unmatched arrival visible and give the responsible manager a way to resolve it.

RECORD

Keep the evidence.

Preserve the recorded time and check-in method alongside the scheduled shift.

RESOLVE

Give exceptions an owner.

Route missing sign-ins, corrections and additional-hours requests to the person authorised to decide.

RETURN

Keep the source connected.

Send eligible records through the agreed integration. Pay calculations stay with your workforce or payroll system.

BEFORE THE FIRST SHIFT

A few practical questions.

Does everyone need the app?

No. A worker can scan FieldTie Point and use the web check-in. The native app adds Bluetooth proximity to the QR check and can be installed later.

Do we have to register every subcontractor first?

No. The walk-up path is for people who are new to FieldTie. They verify their mobile and provide the details required by the site’s onboarding rules.

What if the company search finds no match?

The worker can choose their subcontractor from the site’s available list. The demo includes both a lookup match and a manual selection path.

Do all workers have the same requirements?

No. Requirements depend on the work and site. One assignment may need a licence or qualification; another may need a briefing and site approval. The demo uses a general field-worker example.

What can someone do after checking in?

Open the site experience to report an incident, read applicable procedures and receive relevant updates. Their identity, company and site stay connected to those actions.
